The Moberly Area Employer’s Training Consortium was created to assist employers in the Moberly Area with their training and workforce development needs. This collaboration allows for our employers to bring quality training opportunities here to the Moberly Area at a reduce cost and limits the need to send employees to large markets.

  • SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide.
  • MO BUSINESS PORTAL This is your single point of entry for business registration, filings, licenses, and permits for doing business in the State of Missouri.
  • MISSOURI DEVELOPMENT CUSTOMIZED EMPLOYEE TRAINING Customized Training is available for businesses to help train their workers through skill training. Skill training may take place in a classroom setting, at the business’ facility or at one of more than 80 educational facilities throughout Missouri.

  • WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT provides resources to local businesses through the area Workforce Investment Boards as well as local one-stop career centers. DWD provides assistance with job description development, job postings, and applicant screening and training programs.
  • MISSIOURI PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE The Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (MO PTAC) assist businesses in obtaining federal, state and local government contracts.

LOCAL LENDING INSTITUTIONS – MAEDC HAS ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIPS with all the local lending institutions in the MAEDC Region and can provide assistance with compiling the necessary documentation and project presentations.
