 Corey J. Mehaffy joined the staff of Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation as the President of the organization in February of 2008. As President, Mehaffy is responsible for all economic development efforts including business retention & expansion, business attraction and entrepreneurship. From its inception in 1988 MAEDC has handled the economic development function for the City of Moberly and Randolph County. In 2009, Mehaffy led an effort to establish a three year partnership with Chariton County and again in 2011 the organization expanded to add Cooper and Monroe Counties with MAEDC functioning as the lead economic development agency for all Counties.
Prior to joining MAEDC Mehaffy served for five years as the Chief Operating Officer of Central Christian College of the Bible and one year as the COO of L&J Development, Inc both of Moberly. Mehaffy came to CCCB after serving as the VP of Operations for Pike Mechanical, Inc and serving as the Director of Operations and Business Development for Arona Corporation both of Des Moines Iowa. Mehaffy has held several senior management positions in a variety of industries from banking to retail while owning several businesses.

Mr. Gaines joined the staff of MAEDC as the organization’s Vice President on September 1, 2010. Prior to joining the MAEDC team, Mr. Gaines served as the Executive Director for Montgomery City Growth, Inc since December of 2007. Mr. Gaines has held management positions in varying industries including economic development, financial services and broadcast media.
“We are very excited about this opportunity,” said Mr. Gaines. “Moberly and the surrounding areas are a great place to do business. There are numerous benefits to being in business in the Moberly area both nationally and as we have seen recently, internationally as well.”

Before joining Moberly Area Economic Development in 2009, Tina was employed by General Electric for 20 years in various positions. Tina carries her producer license with the State of Missouri Department of Insurance in Property/Casualty. She also serves as an officer of the City Park Board and an active member in Huntsville United Methodist Church. She enjoys helping to make the community a great place to live and raise a family. Tina and husband Jeff live in Huntsville and have 2 sons. |

 Christy joined Moberly Area Economic Development in 2008. She enjoys working in the community and being involved in the process of bringing new businesses and jobs to our area. Previously joining MAEDC, Christy has been a Realtor for Century21 McKeown & Assoc. Inc. for the past 8 years. She enjoys working and helping families find their dream home. Christy resides in Huntsville with her husband and have 4 children. She is a active member of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville. She is currently a Westran School District Board Member. She enjoys volunteering with the various organizations and sporting events within the community.
