The Moberly Area Employer’s Training Consortium was created to assist employers in the Moberly Area with their training and workforce development needs. This collaboration allows for our employers to bring quality training opportunities here to the Moberly Area at a reduced cost by sharing expenses across a larger number of participants and limits or even eliminates the need to send employees to larger markets. This effort reduces the amount of time away from work and eliminates the costs associated with travel and overnight stays allowing our partners to offer more training opportunities by stretching their limited training resources. Many members are eligible for MAETC training funds received through the consortium as a result of matching grants from state and federal funding.
Training sessions are selected by the MAETC Curriculum Committee and approved by the membership in their monthly meeting. Upcoming training sessions are posted on the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation website at www.moberly-edc.com. Join our mailing list to keep informed as well.
The annual cost of membership is $125 per company. This membership allows partners to access the matching state training dollars as well as experience a reduced overall participant costs for each session. Non-member organizations are welcome to participate in MAETC training sessions at an increased rate per session.
