Keleher Becomes New MAEDC Chairman

Moberly, MO - Coming with the turning of the calendar comes a change in leadership at the top of Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation. The regional economic development group has announced that Les Keleher, Plant Manager for Wilson Trailer will assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors following the retirement of rural Paris businessman, Chuck Brazeale. Brazeale’s tenure as Chairman of the Board marked the first time a representative from outside of Randolph County has led the four decades old non-profit organization. Walmart DC #6077 Expands Moberly Operations

Moberly, MO – Executives at the Walmart DC #6077 in Moberly announced today that the facility will adding 45 new FTE positions to the facility’s base level staffing over the next few weeks. In addition, the facility is adding 4 new salaried positions this fall. According to management, the facility has hired 23 FTE in the last 5 weeks and plans to post additional positons this week. According to management, the facility is slated to take on additional volume in February of 2016 which resulted in the need to hire additional associates and bring in additional equipment. Cardinal Health expanding Moberly operations, adding 50 new positions

MOBERLY, Mo.— The Missouri Department of Economic Development today announced that Cardinal Health will expand its Moberly manufacturing facility, creating 50 new jobs for the area over the next six years. “Cardinal Health’s decision to expand in Moberly is a testament to the state’s manu facturing strength,” said Mike Downing, director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. “Missouri’s central location is an inherent advantage, and our skilled workforce makes projects like this possible.” Among the 50 new, full-time positions to be filled at the Moberly facility are maintenance technicians, machine operators and material handlers. Moberly Area Industrial Park’s McKeown Parkway and MFA Oil’s Business Support Center To Be Dedicated MOBERLY, MO – After years of planning and development the newest industrial park, the Moberly Area Industrial Park in Moberly will be dedicated along with the new road that services current and future businesses in the complex. The recently completed roadway leading from U.S. Business Highway 63 into the Moberly Area Industrial Park in a ceremony at 12noon on Friday, December 4th will be named McKeown Parkway.
