Phynx Fiber Announces Gigabit Fiber Internet Expansion into Moberly

Today Phynx Fiber announced the addition of gigabit fiber Internet access to both homes and businesses in Moberly. This new service will provide fiber connections directly to each participating residence and business once the infrastructure is in place. The company’s engineering team is finalizing their infrastructure blueprints for Moberly. Mac Rak Invests in Moberly Expansion

MAEDC is proud to announce the expansion of business in Moberly. Mac Rak an industrial rack storage rack component company. They are renovating an existing facility in Moberly. They will likely open in August 2018 and will be employing 35 or more employees. Watch the full-length Video:

MAEDC Announces Mac Rak Expansion in Moberly

Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC) announces the expansion of Mac Rak Inc. of Joliet, IL in Moberly. Mac Rak is a family-owned company by Shawn and Pam MacDonald. The company will purchase the former Randolph County Sheltered Industry space on Sparks Avenue. Mac Rak plans to invest $2.5 million in the facility and employ at least 30 people. Mac Rak has been in business over 18 years, and has grown to be the industry leader in engineered warehouse storage rack repair. Their products repair and protect warehouse rack systems quicker and more cost effectively than traditional frame replacement. Missouri House of Representatives Recognizes Impact of the Small Business & Technology Developme

Today the Missouri House of Representatives recognizes the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC) Small Business & Technology Development Center for National SBDC Day. Representative Tim Remole presented a resolution to Ryan Eidson, Entrepreneurship Specialist at MAEDC, to mark the occasion. “Since I started at the beginning of this year, I have worked with Moberly area businesses on succession planning to retain local ownership,” said Eidson. “I am also working with local entrepreneurs on new business ideas to bring products and services to the market.” Eidson, who is part of the Missouri Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) network, serves the seven-county
