Moberly Motor Company To Expand With New Facility

April 29, 2016

Moberly, MO – Moberly Motor Company is proud and pleased to announce plans to build a state-of-the-art Ford Lincoln Dealership in the very near future.  The 72 year old family run business is making a major investment to rebuild the dealership located on North Morley Street in Moberly that will set the ground work for the next generation of car buyers.  The expansion will result in the creation of 5 new positions within the company.

“We are very pleased that the Miller family is making this investment in our community,” said Bob Riley, Mayor of the City of Moberly.  “From the very beginning, Moberly Motors has been a valued member of our community.”

Moberly Motors traces its roots back more than seven decades to 1943 when Russell T. Miller established the company with one employee.  Today, under its fourth generation of family ownership the company employs four dozen highly trained professionals.

“Our family has been long committed to Moberly and the surrounding area and we have valued our customer relationships from the very first day,” said Dean Miller, President of Moberly Motor Company.  “This expansion moves to insure that our company will be here to provide the best service our customers for now and in the future.”

Moberly Motors not only sells new Ford and Lincoln cars and trucks, they also sell and service Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram cars, trucks and sport-utility vehicles.  The modern collision repair and body shop will remain at the facility as well as the detail shop for customer convenience.

“It is exciting to know that Moberly Motor Company will be creating new employment opportunities with this expansion,” said Corey Mehaffy, President of Moberly Area Economic Development

.  “The Miller family is one of those key partners that is working to make our community a great place to live and work.”

The demolition and construction process is slated to begin in June of this year.
