A new funding opportunity is available to help manufacturers develop skilled workers through Registered Apprenticeship Programs. Eligible employers may receive $3,500 per apprentice while creating long-term workforce development pathways.

MAEDC has announced the resignation of President/CEO Kaylee Paffrath, effective June 22, 2026. Since joining MAEDC in 2023 and becoming President/CEO in 2024, Paffrath has helped advance business development, regional partnerships, workforce initiatives, and economic growth efforts throughout the Moberly region. Led by the Human Trafficking Training Center, the event will equip attendees with the knowledge to recognize warning signs, understand trafficking tactics, and play an active role in prevention.
