The Mark Twain Solid Waste Management District Region G will hold a Public Comment Hearing on the District’s Solid Waste Management Plan.   The hearing will take place on May 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Randolph County Sheltered Industries, 1751 Robertson Rd, Moberly, MO 65270. Members of the public are invited to attend, review the Mark Twain Solid Waste Management District Plan, and provide public comments.

The Mark Twain Solid Waste Management District is now accepting FY2027 grant applications to support recycling, waste reduction, and hazardous waste initiatives across Northeast Missouri, with funding available for equipment, programs, and collaborative projects.

University of Missouri students joined local leaders in Moberly for a hands-on collaboration at Rothwell Park, combining creativity, community insight, and real-world experience to support the Mini Train project.
