Continental Casting Expand Operations Creates New Jobs

Monroe City, MO. – Executives at Continental Casting, LLC have announced a need for an additional 75 new full-time positions. Thanks to an increase in manufacturing in the United States the need for additional employees has been created.

Continental Casting will add the new positions at both the Monroe City and Palmyra production facilities beginning immediately. The company is looking for entry level positions applicants as well as experienced applicants for positions, but not limited to, manufacturing production, CNC machine operator, tool and die maker, quality control, customer service, human resource and maintenance.

“The market has seen a resurgence in the demand for top quality American made products,” said Tina Brown, Chief Financial Officer for Continental Casting. ”As a result we are expanding employment opportunities in our two production facilities to meet that demand.”

Continental Casting has been a leader in providing Zinc, Aluminum and Magnesium parts with critical tolerances to the automotive, electronics and commercial industries. Using the latest in computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining the company has the ability to produce a variety of products.

Individuals interested in employment with Continental Casting are encouraged to attend and apply at their Job Recruitment Day to be held at the Quality Inn in Hannibal at 120 Lindsey Drive, Hwy 36, on November 19th from 1:00pm to 6:30pm in the Coral Room. Applicants are also encouraged to apply through the Missouri Job Centers located in Hannibal, Columbia and Kirksville or at Continental Casting’s facilities at Monroe City or Palmyra.
