The City of Clark is working to secure Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to support critical wastewater and street infrastructure improvements within the city. These improvements are essential to maintaining public health, safety, and quality of life for our community.
To be eligible for CDBG funding, the City must document that at least 51% of residents are low-to-moderate income, as required by the program. To meet this requirement, resident participation in the income survey is absolutely critical.
Why Your Survey Is So Important
The funding agency requires at least 80% of households benefiting from the project to respond.
If this response rate is not met, the City cannot apply for the grant, regardless of the community’s need.
Without grant funding, the City may be forced to rely on loans to complete necessary improvements—potentially increasing costs for residents.
Each completed survey brings Clark one step closer to qualifying for grant assistance and helps reduce the need for borrowing.
Confidential and Easy to Complete
The survey is confidential and does not require a signature.
Surveys are numbered only to track response rates and prevent duplicates.
Individual information will not be shared.
Completed surveys can be returned using the self-addressed, stamped envelope provided and mailed to:
