Kaylee Paffrath Named President/CEO of Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation

Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC) proudly announces the appointment of Kaylee Paffrath as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective February 8, 2024.


 “Kaylee brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role, having served as the Director of Business Development for MAEDC since 2023. With a career that spans various leadership positions, Kaylee's strategic vision, and commitment to economic growth make her an ideal candidate to lead MAEDC into its next phase of development,” said Chuck McKeown, MAEDC Board President.


Prior to joining MAEDC, Kaylee served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Moberly Area Community College, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership overseeing the MACC/MJC Alumni Association & Foundation and the Evelyn Jorgenson Fine Arts Gallery.


Kaylee has been an active participant in regional economic development initiatives, serving as the Vice President for Missouri Northeast and representing Northeast Missouri District 2 on the Missouri Economic Development Council (MEDC) Public Policy Committee.

Kaylee Paffrath is an alumna of Columbia College, where she earned her B.S. B.A. in 2012, and later completed her M.B.A. in 2022. Her academic achievements, coupled with her hands-on experience, have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of economic development principles and strategies.


Kaylee and her husband, Colin, reside in Moberly with their two children, Maxwell and Harper, both of whom attend Moberly Public Schools.
