Michael Bugalski joins Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation


Mr. Bugalski will join the staff of MAEDC on July 13, 2016. Prior to joining the MAEDC team, Mr. Bugalski served as a Business Development Specialist for the State of Missouri Department of Economic Development. In addition, Mr. Bugalski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as a Master of Public Affairs from the Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs at University of Missouri-Columbia.

There are numerous benefits for business investment in the region and I look forward to assisting existing businesses, local entrepreneurs and working with companies that are looking to make new investment in the area”

Mr. Bugalski formerly worked as a Business Development Specialist in the eight-county Kansas City Metropolitan Region and managed business development, expansion and recruitment projects for the State of Missouri. Bugalski is experienced with federal, state and local level programs to assist businesses and also has experience in public policy.

MAEDC President Corey Mehaffy added, “Michael has served in a very active market in the Kansas City region. As the Business Development Specialist in this area, Michael manages the only territory in the State of Missouri responsible for business retention and expansion projects as well as business attraction projects. Over the past year, Michael has worked over 40 projects involving hundreds of new jobs and millions in capital investment in the KC Metropolitan Area. Michael’s experiences will be of great benefit to the MAEDC Region partners.”
