Michael Bugalski Selected as President of MAEDC

Michael Bugalski, President MAEDC

Moberly, MO – Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation, MAEDC, announces its selection of Michael Bugalski as President. Bugalski has been Interim President since January 1 and before that was the organization’s Vice President. Bugalski’s first day as President will be March 16.

The Board of Directors conducted a search in the first quarter of 2019, and made its selection at a February meeting. Jim Bratcher, Chairman of MAEDC added, “Michael was a strong candidate with us since the beginning, and we have been pleased with the way he has operated on an Interim basis. Removing the Interim label was the right decision for us and we feel enthusiastic about the future.”

Bugalski has been with MAEDC since 2016. “It is a great honor to be selected as President of this organization. MAEDC has built a stellar reputation and I am proud to have been a part of it for almost three years. I am appreciative of the opportunity to continue serving this organization as President and looking forward to taking on the position,” said Bugalski.

MAEDC continues to represent Howard, Randolph, and Monroe Counties as well as a ten-county service territory for its SBDC Counselor. The organization has been in existence for 31 years and has been a multi-county partnership since 2009.

Prior to MAEDC, Bugalski worked for the Missouri Department of Economic Development. He is a graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia with an MPA from the Truman School of Public Affairs. His undergraduate work was in Political Science and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is a native of Southeastern Wisconsin. He lives in Moberly with his wife, Cassie.

MAEDC wishes to extend its appreciation to its partners and contributors for their continued support.
